My name is Eric Edhlund, but to my family and friends I am known as Eddie, and sports, particularly ice rinks, have always played a prominent role in my life. With an active family, our house has become known as Eddieland, because there is always something going on much like an amusement park. I created this company to share my love of the ice arena business and named it Eddieland Sports so that my customers know they are being taken care of like family.

I have been in the ice arena business for over 20 years, starting as an Arena Manager in 2001. I’ve worked in all types of settings: a municipality, Private School, Non-Profit and a School District. My experience in Arena Management has allowed me to learn many ways to operate a building and a team.

I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Ice Arena Managers Association (MIAMA) in the role of President. I also serve on the US Ice Rink Board of Directors where I sit on the Membership Committee. Addionally, I hold my CIT and CIRM Certifications with US Ice Rink Association.

I enjoy learning about other ice arenas, collaborating and sharing ideas.
